During our recent trip to Italy, we visit Vetreria Franco Schiavon Gallery in Murano. They have an amazing storefront with a gallery that shows like a museum. We had a wonderful gentleman show us around and tell the stories behind the art pieces, the artist, and history. We found couple of pieces that we really liked, a lamp and a large centerpiece. We found ourselves attracted to the bronze in the glass and found two pieces that really highlighted this. Both items were very well packaged and shipped to us in perfect shape, and we have been enjoying them daily in our home. The quality and selection of the items is second to none. They have the nicest and most knowledgeable staff as well.

We were given a private tour of their facility and the staff took the time for us to find the perfect piece for our family. we visited Franco Schiavon Gallery while in Venice July 2023. we specifically wanted to purchase some Murano glass on our holiday to bring back to Australia as a special keepsake from our trip. we are so glad to have entered this gallery. they have an amazing range to suit all budgets. we purchased a reasonably large but quite heavy piece and they took care of all the details to send our purchase to Australia so we did not have to carry it around for many weeks. they organised to have it sent a few days before we arrived home and the well packaged parcel arrived safely a few days later. we also were lucky to have met the man himself who created our piece and had a couple of photos taken with him. this was a very important purchase for us as a reminder of our trip and the staff were very helpful to do all they could to be of assistance for what we needed. we would not hesitate to recommend this gallery to anyone and if you require an item posted to your country of origin, they will meet your requirements. My visit to Franco Schiavon Gallery was a wonderful memorable experience. It is the stand out gallery in Murano! I revisited the gallery three times before I decided on a piece in chalcedony glass (stunning) The patience, professionalism and all details regarding tax and shipping were explained in detail. I recently purchased a glass sculpture from this gallery. I would like to share my experience , as I was so impressed with the whole process. I was lmmediately grabed by the items on display in the front window, both the quality of the items and the way they were displayed. On entering I noticed a small collection of items that , in my opinion, stood out from the rest, and l was taking a closer look when a staff member came over and gave me information of the creator of the pieces I was looking at. he also told me a great deal about the processes involved. When i expressed an interest in 2 items , but couldn’t make my mind up, he escorted me and the 2 items to a sunlit roof patio so I could see them in natural light.
having eventually made my mind up , Davide, the ever helpful staff member, guided me through the export / import to the UK minefield.
8 days later I was the proud posessor ov a unique and beautiful work of art.

Bonjour

C’est en Juillet 2008 lors d’un weekend romantique avec mon épouse sur Venise que nous avons pu découvrir la Galerie FRANCO SCHIAVON. Nous avons bien sur vu beaucoup de galeries sur Murano, mais tout d’abord la gentillesse et la qualité de l’accueil nous a tout de suite séduit. A ce moment là notre choix c’était porté sur un magnifique Vase « solo di venezia » qui depuis lors nous accompagne tous les jours en France en très bonne place. Il fait le bonheur de la famille et émerveille nos invités.

Tout naturellement 13 ans plus tard quand j’ai décidé de faire l’acquisition d’une nouvelle pièce j’ai repris contact avec cette galerie. Mais la crise sanitaire ne nous a pas permis de nous rendre sur Murano depuis Paris. Peu importe nous avons utilisé les moyens modernes de communication et la disponibilité de Annarita a fait la différence. Nous avons pu revisiter à distance la galerie en visio et découvrir toutes les nouveautés du moment, « visite privée et sur mesure !! ». Notre choix c’est alors porté sur une très belle sculpture « scultura calcedonio ». Une superbe pièce unique qui est là encore venue embellir notre salon. La pièce nous a été livrée sous 8 jours par transporteur avec une protection emballage parfaite pour protéger la pièce.

Je recommanderai donc sans aucune retenue les amateurs à la recherche de pièces uniques et de grande qualité de faire confiance à la galerie FRANCO SCHIAVON

Tra i tanti negozi che espongono manufatti in vetro, sono stata attratta dagli originali bijoux esposti nella vetrina della Schiavon Gallery.
Sono entrata nello showroom e, sin da subito, sono stata colpita dalla gentilezza e dalla professionalità della signora Annarita.
Nella Schiavon Gallery ho ammirato una vastissima scelta di oggetti in vetro di grande pregio.
Fidandomi dei preziosi consigli della signora Annarita, ho acquistato una collana davvero particolare e tre lampadari molto versatili (si adattano sia agli ambienti classici che moderni) ed originali per forma e colori; inoltre, ho motivo di ringraziarla perchè la sua affabilità e garbatezza non si sono esaurite con l’acquisto, ma li ho riscontrati anche nella fase post vendita, di spedizione e consegna.

We got art at our home, 3 beautiful masterpieces are hanging on top of our table in the kitchen, and they are simply marvelous when light is on, simply stunning when light is off.

Thank you so much for the incredible chandelier! It arrived on Tuesday morning and everything is in order. I can’t find the delivery receipt (or maybe I forgot to write it down upon delivery), so I am writing to inform you that everything is in order with no damage or missing pieces. I am currently assembling it and it will be hung tomorrow, but everything looks to be in order. The wiring works from the tests I’ve done on it, but once it’s hung on the ceiling, I will be able to tell if there are issues with the electricity. So far, so good!

One detail appeared to be useless. Look at the pictures. I’m guessing it was put in by mistake, instead of a spare Cup. I had to get 4 spare elements Indeed.  I received a Flower, a Leaf # 1, a Leaf # 2 and the useless Cup. I could send the Cup back by DHL, if it is necessary.

If I am ever back in Venice, a stop in your gallery is a must!  The large glass bowl I purchased is in my living room which looks out over Gastineau Channel at huge white cruise ships in the summer.  And the channel’s backdrop is towering Mt. Juneau, I can see mountain goats.

Dear Franco Schiavon Gallery,

In the first chapter in Genesis the story of the Creation began with the manifestation of light, coming out of the darkness.  This is similar to when a person enters a dark room and immediately turns on the light.  For me, light, natural light or electric light, is always connected with creation.

When I entered your gallery my first impression was that although I am from Israel, visiting Venice, I succeeded in communicating in the international language of art.  In this gallery I was captured by the diverse expressions in your art, both utilitarian and purely aesthetic.  All of them were presented in their state of completion.

The salesperson who helped me was Anna. She was patient, attentive to my needs and immediately we found a common connection.  Her service exceeded above all of my expectations.  As an artist myself, I was taken by the high level of your hand made pieces of art.  I bought two chandeliers and they arrived to my home in Jerusalem in perfect condition.  It was obvious that much care went into shipping them.

Without any hesitation I will gladly refer friends of mine to visit your gallery when visiting Venice.

In de the summer of 2017 we bought two vases in your shop in Venice. You can see them on the picture. We are very glad about them.
Now we would like to have another object of yours. In the photo’s you can see our home and living. At one side the living has a sharp corner. The television is placed there. We are looking for a hanging object or lamp in that corner.

It can’t be too big. Above de television the maximum height is 1 m but is better not the use the max height. We want a subtle object, not too big. We are looking for something with colors that fit with the vases, painting, and other subjects in the room. If you want more photos to get more information about the colors, please ask.

The budget is max 2000 euro. Can you design such an object?

We finally inspected the shipment, and it was in good condition.  We were amazed at the careful and professional packing that you did (the packing was a work of art unto itself!).

Ms Schiavon, We received the extra beads and three tumblers intact on April 17th. Thank you very much for everything! Our 7 and 5 yer old boys have heard us talk fondly of Venice often. Now they are asking when they can visit! They want to see the people who made the glasses they drink their morning orange juice from. They also wonder how the chandelier which now hangs over their dining table was made.Hopefully we shall return with them in a couple of years. When we do, we shall be certain to visit your store in Murano.

For a long time ago, 1982, me and my husband visit your lovely glass factory in Murano.
We felt in love in these (look at the picture) glasses.
You send those glasses, I think four at the time, to:
Stefan Kleen Sweden In 1982 we ordered 12 wineglasses, 12 whiskey/selter glasses and beautiful carafe.
We want to know IF it is possible to order 6 new wineglasses
and 6 new whiskey glasses though 4 wineglasses has been broken
